As is typically the case, and I've confirmed with a league coordinator, this means that the last date for matches to count towards 2014 year-end calculations is also November 9. So you have just a few more days to get a match in if you think you are close to being bumped up and want that last good result to get there.
Once all the matches are in, the USTA will spend the rest of the month calculating year-end ratings and if all goes as it usually does, year-end ratings will be available the Monday after Thanksgiving, which would be December 1st.
And as is always the case, if you'd like a estimate of what your dynamic rating is, I can generate individual or team reports. ReplyDeleteFor the upcoming year-end ratings, what time range will be considered for the ratings? You said that match cutoff is November 9th. So I am assuming that some later (NTRP tournament) matches played in December of 2013 will be considered for the upcoming year-end ratings. Is this the case?
The 2014 year started October 28th and ends November 9th. Certainly for league matches, and I believe for tournaments too, anything played after the 9th will count towards the 2015 "year" and similarly tournaments played after 10/28 last year should count towards this year. I have not verified these dates for tournaments but that is a best guess.
