2009 Week 10 NFL Ratings/Rankings and Summary

Week 10 of the NFL season is complete and it resulted in a few changes in the ratings.  The ratings are below but can always be found at http://sites.google.com/site/computerratings/nfl-football/nfl-ratings.

And there are still 2.  New Orleans and Indy both win narrowly, Indy more narrowly than most, and stay undefeated and #1 and #2 in the rankings.  New England stays #3 even with the loss and there is a new #4 in Cincinnati replacing Pittsburgh who drops to #6.  Baltimore fits in at #5 even with a 5-4 record due to the losses being very close and/or on the road.  Minnesota, Arizona, and Dallas finally represent the NFC behind New Orleans at #7 thru #9.

The computer is having alternate good and bad weeks this week not being so good at 5-9-1 after last weeks 8-5 against the spread.  Even with that poor record, it did well picking winners going 9-6 against Vegas' 8-7.  For the year the computer is still doing very well at 82-59-3 against the spread.  Details of the picks in last weeks newsletter.  Full prediction performance here.
